VACANCIES
- Logistics/transport officer
– Plan route, schedule, supervise & inspect trucks before delivery take-off
– Coordinate container movement by rail or road from terminal to designated location
– Follow-up with operations unit for collection of delivery interchange & ensure accurate entry of details on the system
– Provide hauliers with Terminal Delivery Order for loading at the terminal
– Liaises with head of logistics to implement transport policies approved by management
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION
– Minimum of first degree/HND in logistics, supply chain management, administration or related discipline is required
– Minimum of three-years work experience in handling transport services in similar industry
- Assistant Manager, operations
– Obtains and reviews all documents (i.e. Container advice, Bill of Laden etc.) for accuracy and completeness for assigned terminal & port
– Prepares and hands over to customs all documents (i.e. Transire) required for processing customs duty at minimum costs
– Liaises and follow up with Finance and Accounts departments on bank drafts to cover up for Terminal Debit Notes
– Manages relationship, follow-up with custom officers to ensure timely processing and obtains Transit Manifest at minimum cost
– Manages relationship, follow-up with Terminal Operators to ensure timely processing and obtains Terminal Debit Note and Terminal Delivery Order
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
– First degree/HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Social Sciences or any other relevant disciplines.
– Relevant professional qualification is required e.g. Nigerian Maritime Institute (NMI), Chartered Institute of Shipping (CIS) is required
– Minimum of 6 years experience in a similar role, working with Customs and Shipping agences

- Accounts officer
– Handles all aspects of assigned bookkeeping activities such as reconciliations, journals, and nominal ledger administration by updating the accounting application with transactions as they occur
– Assists the Financial Accountant with the preparation of monthly management accounts audit process
– Assists the Financial Accountant with analysis and reconciliations to support statutory accounts audit process
– Processes cash book transactions and preparation of bank reconciliations
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION
– Minimum of first degree/HND in Finance/Accounting or any related discipline is required
– Relevant professional certification e.g. Chatered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Association of Certified and Chartered Accountants (ACCA) is an advantage
– Minimum of 3 years work experience in the Finance/Treasury/Accounts function in a similar organization
